Using a find Index tool how can I find a character Index in different record set inputs
In fields as [[rec(*).a]],
Index “All Occurrence”
Character 2
And I want to put my output values in [[rec(*).b]]
Output is coming as [[rec(1).b]]=2, [[rec(2).b]]=4, [[rec(3).b]]=6, [[rec(4).b]]=8, [[rec(5).b]]=2, [[rec(6).b]]=4, [[rec(7).b]]=2,[[rec(8).b]]=4,[[rec(9).b]]=6,[[rec(10).b]]=8.
Now output is coming in record set but how would I know 2 is at index 2,4,6,8 in [[rec(1).a]] = h2f2f2f2 .
And 2 is at index 2 and 4 in [[rec(2).a]]=h2f2.
And 2 is at index 2,4,6,and 8 in [[rec(3).a]] = h2f2f2f2.
The For Each tool is designed for this. Try dropping the Find Index tool into the for each and put the result into [[rec(*).b]].
When "Delete Record" set doesn't have index what it is going to delete while debugging ??
but when I debug It is showing the message as success so here actually what is deleting by the Delete Record ??
At least when I debug it should show some message as record set doesn't exist.
If the recordset is being used as an Input and does not have an index specified [[rec().set]], then it will use the last record.
If the recordset is being used as an Output and does not have an index specified [[rec().set]], then it will add a new record.
So in your example above, the last record in the recordset was deleted. The debug output should show you the record number.
There is a Warewolf Language Help button at the top of the studio:
It has more detail on how the language works.
Email tool is always sending an email from "first email address" only, after change and test with "Second email address" while editing.
2.Bring email tool into workflow from Tool Box
3.Change the username (Email address one)
4.Enter Email password
5.Click on test connection (Connection is successfull)
6.save Email source
6.Run the workflow
Result - Observe Email is sending from (Email address one) which is correct
And next
1.Click on edit email source
2.Change the username (Email address two)
3.Enter the password
5.Click on test connection (Connection successfull)
6.Save the Email source
7.Run the work flow
Result - Observe Email is still sending from (Email address one) which is incorrect
"Expand All" button on the work space is not functioning properly when I have two or more tabs
2.Open a service from explorer and click on expand all (It wil expand)
3.Open another workflow without closing first workflow
4.From tabs go back to previous workflow
5.Click on "Expand all" (It will not work)
How do you find all this stuff!
We will look into it down the line.
Web service request methods and source are forgotten on edit
I then tried to create a web service with this source using the PUT method.
I saved the web service and every time I edit it the Method reverts to GET and I need to re-select the source.
Hash-based Message Authentication Code Tool
I would like this because certain RESTful web services I need to consume in Warewolf require their payload to be signed this way and currently is not possible without writing a custom plugin. Which I then need to manage on the file system of my server... Not keen to go this route.

Web Service Large Payload Size
I set-up and configured a source and I was able to view the results in the browser.
Yet when I tried to create a web service with the source to define the input and output mapping the request took more then two minutes to execute. I cancelled it after this point.
I then tried using the copy and paste result feature to configure the service using the browser output from hitting the service. It pasted fine, yet once again after a few minutes of waiting I cancelled the service creation. It had not finished!
It would be great if large JSON payloads would parse quickly.
We are busy putting a fix so you can use JSONPath ( like XPath for JSON ) to pre-process your data payload. This means the path generation will require fewer operations on a data set like your.
Refactor option
Hey guys, would it be possible to add a Refactor option, so that should a Proc change and be deployed to live server, that we could easily update the various usages of that proc on all the workflows in which it is used? I realise that some workflows may need to be changed when a proc changes, but it could be that the revised proc just returns an additional field which is only used by one workflow, which means that it wouldn't effect the rest of the workflows, as this additional field would be ignored within all the other workflows using the proc?
As it stands, changing the underlying proc will only affect services that change accordingly. If you add a field to the proc, you only need to change the instance that needs that change, the others will simply ignore it by default. However, they will all show in a warning state so that you know which ones are not completely up to date. If this is not what you mean, please let us know.
