Free Git jumpstart course

Microsoft also hosts a free jump start course called Using Git with Visual Studio 2013 Jump Start which provides an excellent grounding in Git.

TortoiseGit is a Windows Shell Interface to Git and based on TortoiseSVN. You can download the latest stable version from Google Code’s Tortoise Git Download page.
